Work Party 2nd April

 Still a few major jobs to do this weekend i.e. bottom corner wire ropes + posts to put back in, armco on same corner to replace, probably another drain to do (so could do with a good hand on the JCB) and loads of other usual stuff. Also need someone to do a few hours on the roller this Friday if the rain holds off. Tremendous effort so far by most of the members lets carry it on.

SOLWAY WORK PARTY 20/03/11

Well done to all for another hugely successful weekend of preparation at Hay Close. Our contractors worked 34 hours solid from 6am Saturday morning till 4pm yesterday evening, our landowner now has his landscaped pond and more importantly we have 15000 tonnes of new track surface in place. All laid, levelled and rolled.....its not quite the finished item just yet but its a lot closer than it was on Friday evening!
Club members also did sterling work on tidying the outfield fencing, completing drainage works on the main straight and stripping and cleaning/resealing the water bowser.

Just a quick thanks to all who attended this weekend and got through a tremendous amount of work, all new drainage in place which has had an unbelievable effect in just 2 days already, top entrance gateway opened up, massive clean up, fences repaired, vehicles serviced, etc,etc.
